McCurdy accepts position on bank's board of directors CADILLAC - David S. McCurdy recently accepted an invitation to join the Board of Directors of Fifth Third Bank Northern Michigan. McCurdy is president of McCurdy & Wotila, a law firm in Cadillac, and also serves as city attorney for the city of Cadillac. McCurdy's areas of primary practice include estate planning, probate and trust administration, real estate, municipal and small business matters. In addition, McCurdy serves as managing member of Lakeside Title, a title insurance agency serving Wexford, Osceola, Missaukee and Lake counties. McCurdy is an involved community volunteer and serves on the Cadillac Area Public School Board of Education. McCurdy graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor of arts degree in 1971 and a J.D. in 1974. He moved to Cadillac in 1974 to practice law with Donald C. Samardich. McCurdy and his wife, Kathy, have three children. McNalley joins Fifth Third Bank CADILLAC - Fifth Third Bank is proud to announce Timothy McNalley has joined the bank's Commercial Banking Group as commercial relationship manager. McNalley is based in Cadillac and will provide financing solutions for corporate and small business clients throughout Wexford, Missaukee and Osceola counties. McNalley has more than 23 years' experience in commercial banking, and prior to this appointment worked as a commercial lender at another regional financial institution in Cadillac. He has been active in community organizations, most recently with Junior Achievement and the Cadillac Downtown Fund. McNalley earned a degree in business administration and economics from Central Michigan University in 1979, has taken a variety of American Institute of Banking and Robert Morris Associates courses and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Commercial Lending School. Ballard promoted to assistant vice president of Fifth Third CADILLAC - Deborah Ballard, banking center manager of Fifth Third's Downtown Cadillac office, has been promoted to assistant vice president. Ballard has worked in the banking industry for 24 years, and joined Fifth Third in 1994. She is a graduate of the Cadillac Chamber of Commerce Leadership program and was involved in the Business Education Partnership Program for six years. Ballard also has been active in the community, participating in the Kiwanis Club of Cadillac, co-chairing the Mackinaw Trail Middle School PTO and working on several committees at Temple Hill Baptist Church.
