Cadillac man Snapp arrested on CSC charges CADILLAC - A 46-year-old Cadillac man who is awaiting trial on charges of child pornography was arrested on two charges of criminal sexual conduct-third degree, multiple variables. Darryl Henry Gurshom Snapp stood mute to the charges Tuesday and a not-guilty plea was entered on his behalf. Charges follow 1996 incidents in Cadillac, court records indicate. Snapp has charges of child sexual abusive activity, possession of child sexually abusive material and habitual offender-fourth offense pending in Wexford County Circuit Court. Michigan State Police-Cadillac post troopers originally arrested Snapp on May 16 after they went to Snapp's home on an unrelated charge and found him with a 7-year-old female watching TV while lying on a bed. Troopers received permission to search the house and found several boxes of child pornography, videos and two computers used to download the pornography. Maximum penalty on both CSC charges is 15 years in prison and the habitual offender-fourth offense carries a life in prison term, if convicted. Snapp also faces life in prison as a habitual offender on the prior charges, if convicted. Bond was set at $100,000.
