Seminar to showcase non-traditional careers chosen by women CADILLAC - The Wexford-Missaukee Area Career Technical Center sponsors “Careers for Women - a Non-Traditional Career Seminar” Friday at Baker College of Cadillac. The seminar is open to 11th grade girls from each of the seven surrounding high schools within the Intermediate School District. A nontraditional career is defined as a career that is traditionally chosen by the opposite gender. Seminar attendees will have an opportunity to meet with local women in many nontraditional careers, including photographer, architect, television news anchor, marketing consultant, bank president, dentist, software quality engineer, environmental chemist, paramedic, veterinarian, Michigan State Police post commander, forensic lab director, wildlife technician, conservation officer and geologist.
