Two injured in car-bicycle crash

Cadillac City Police responded Thursday to a report of a vehicle hitting two people on a tandem bike at the intersection of Sunnyside and 41 Road. The bicycle was traveling eastbound when a vehicle heading west attempted to turn onto 41 Road. Because of bright sunlight, the driver did not see the bike, according to police. Both bicyclists were transported to Mercy Hospital with minor injuries (broken bones). The driver of the car was cited.
