CADILLAC — Troopers from the Cadillac Michigan State Police Post are asking for the public's assistance to identify a person of interest in a recent fraud investigation.

The case in question began when a married couple from Mecosta County reported their debit card had been fraudulently used at the Wesco Gas Station in Cadillac. according to a release by police. Through the post's investigation, troopers learned the card had been used at a gas pump and the Cadillac business has provided video surveillance footage of the suspect's vehicle from the June 9 incident.

The truck appears to be a light color older model dodge with some sort of roof-mounted light bar and a trailer hitch. The truck also appears to have an odd colored driver’s rear door, running boards, and rust above the driver’s side rear fender. The individual who exits the truck to pump gas appears to be wearing a bright orange shirt, police said in the release.
