ALMA — Three Alma College seniors, including Holly Zuiderveen of Falmouth, were awarded the Outstanding Senior Award on April 19 by Dr. Jeff Abernathy, Alma’s president. The award is given annually to the graduating seniors with the highest grade point average.

Those students who have completed seven full fall and winter terms at Alma College and demonstrated scholastic superiority are eligible to receive the President’s Outstanding Senior Award.

Zuiderveen is a graduate of Northern Michigan Christian.

Alma College, founded in 1886, is a four-year residential liberal arts college located in the heart of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. A deep regard for students as individuals is fundamental to an Alma education, with small classes and many opportunities for one-on-one collaboration with dedicated faculty.
