CADILLAC — A 38-year-old Cadillac man is facing two charges including a felony after he was arraigned Monday in 84th District Court.
Richard Allen Fudge Jr. was charged with one count each of interfering with electronic communication and domestic violence for his connection with an incident on July 5 in Cadillac. If convicted, Fudge Jr. faces up to two years in prison and/or $1,000 in fines.
The charges are merely accusations and not evidence of guilt. Fudge Jr. is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The prosecution has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
A $500 cash or surety bond was issued and a probable cause conference was scheduled for 10 a.m. on July 16.
