CADILLAC — A 27-year-old Cadillac man was charged with multiple vehicle-related charges after he was arraigned recently in 84th District Court.
Kenneth Ray Peck was charged with one count each of forgery of license documents or plates, operating while intoxicated second offense, operating while licenses suspended, revoked or denied and unlawful use of a license plate, registration or title for his connection with an incident on or about Feb. 7 in Cadillac. If convicted, Peck faces up between 1-5 years in prison and/or fines between $500-$5,000.
The charges are merely accusations and not evidence of guilt. Peck is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The prosecution has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
A $1,000 cash or surety bond was issued and a probable cause conference was scheduled for 10 a.m. on Feb. 19.
