CADILLAC — A 36-year-old Tustin man is facing multiple felony offenses including one assault charge after he was arraigned Monday in 84th District Court.

Justin Charles McGee was charged with one count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder or strangulation and interfering with electronic communications for his connection with an incident on June 23 in Cadillac. If convicted, McGee faces up to 10 years in prison or $5,000 in fines.

The charges are merely accusations and not evidence of guilt. McGee is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The prosecution has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

A $5,000 cash or surety bond was issued and a probable cause conference was scheduled for 10 a.m. on July 2.
