CADILLAC — A 35-year-old Cadillac man is facing multiple methamphetamine-related charges after he was recently arraigned in 28th Circuit Court.
Tony Allen Duke stood mute to charges of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine second or subsequent offense, possession of methamphetamine second or subsequent offense and use of methamphetamine second or subsequent offense for his connection with an incident on or about May 21 in Cadillac.
If convicted, Duke faces up to 40 years in prison and/or $50,000 in fines.
The charges are merely accusations and not evidence of guilt. Duke is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The prosecution has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
A $100,000 cash or surety bond was changed by the court to a $25,000 cash or surety bond.
