CADILLAC — A 30-year-old Cadillac woman is facing a drug-related offense and one other felony after she was arraigned recently in 84th District Court.
Samantha Lee Grogan was charged with possession of methamphetamine and lying to a peace officer for her connection with an incident on or about June 4 in Cadillac. If convicted, she faces up to 10 years in prison and/or $15,000 in fines.
She also was charged with a misdemeanor charge of operating with a high BAC second offense for her connection with an incident on or about Aug. 7 in Cadillac.
The charges are merely accusations and not evidence of guilt. is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The prosecution has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
A $150,000 cash or surety bond was issued for the two felony charges while a probable cause conference was scheduled for 10 a.m. on June 11.
