CADILLAC — A 19-year-old Cadillac woman is facing two drug-related charges after she was arraigned Wednesday in 84th District Court.
Skylar Chantal Taylor was charged with one count each of delivery or manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of cocaine less than 25 grams for her connection with an incident on or about April 12 in Manton. If convicted, Taylor faces up to 20 years in prison and/or fines as high as $25,000.
The charges are merely accusations and not evidence of guilt. Taylor is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The prosecution has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
A $250,000 cash or surety bond was issued and a probable cause conference was scheduled for 10 a.m. on July 9.
