CADILLAC — A 32-year-old Harrietta man is facing weapons and vehicle charges after he was arraigned recently in 84th District Court.
Morgan Leigh Clark was charged with one count each of carrying a concealed weapon, a pistol, operating while license suspended, revoked or denied and operating an unregistered vehicle for his connection with an incident occurring on or about Feb. 7 in Slagle Township. If convicted, Clark faces up to five years in prison or $2,500 in fines as well as mandatory forfeiture of the weapon in question.
The charges are merely accusations and not evidence of guilt. Clark is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The prosecution has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
A $5,000 cash or surety bond was issued and a probable cause conference was scheduled for 10 a.m. on Feb. 19.
