CADILLAC — A 34-year-old LeRoy man is facing two drug-related charges and one driving offense after he was arraigned Monday in 84th District Court.
Timothy Joe Goodrich was charged with possession of heroin less than 25 grams second or subsequent offense, possession of gabapentin second or subsequent offense and operating while license suspended, revoked or denied second or subsequent offense for his connection with an incident on July 8 in Cadillac. If convicted, Goodrich faces up to eight years in prison and/or $50,000.
The charges are merely accusations and not evidence of guilt. Goodrich is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The prosecution has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
A $25,000 cash or surety bond was issued and a probable cause conference was scheduled for 10 a.m. on July 16.
