CADILLAC — A 25-year-old Manton woman is facing multiple drug-related charges after she was arraigned Tuesday in 84th District Court.
Zana Marie Brauer was charged with one count of delivery or manufacture methamphetamine for her connection with an incident on Sept. 18 in Cadillac. If convicted, She faces up to 20 years in prison and/or $25,000 in fines.
She also was charged with one count each of possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin and maintaining a drug house or vehicle for her connection with incidents occurring on June 18, 2018, in Cadillac. If convicted, Brauer faces up to 10 years in prison and/or fines as high as $25,000.
She also was charged with a misdemeanor charge of third-degree retail fraud for her connection with an incident on May 3, 2018, in Haring Township.
The charges in each of the aforementioned cases are merely accusations and not evidence of guilt. Brauer is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The prosecution has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
In both drug-related cases, $100,000 cash or surety bonds were issued and probable cause conferences were scheduled for 10 a.m. on June 18.
