REED CITY — The following are sentences occurring in 77th District Court in Osceola County on the date of June 24 and July 8:

• Tyler James Foos, 24, of Ann Arbor, was sentenced to four days in jail for a no contest plea to attempted fourth-degree child abuse. A no contest plea is not an admission of guilt but is treated as one at sentencing. It also permits the court to determine guilt from the review of the police report. He also was ordered to pay $1,355 in fines and fees and given 24 months probation.

• Samantha Lynn Ruzicska, 23, of Ann Arbor was sentenced to four days in jail for a no contest plea to attempted fourth-degree child abuse. A no contest plea is not an admission of guilt but is treated as one at sentencing. It also permits the court to determine guilt from the review of the police report. She is to serve the jail sentence on weekends. She also was ordered to pay $1,235 in fines and fees and given 18 months probation.

• Melody Clare Klusack, 28, of Evart was sentenced to three days in jail with three days credited for a guilty plea to disorderly person — jostling. Shea also was ordered to pay $1,115 in fines and fees and given 12 months probation.

• Michael David Corell, 28, of Evart was sentenced to three days in jail with three days credited for guilty pleas to operating a motor vehicle without insurance and unlawful use of a plate, registration or title. She also was ordered to pay $1,169.65 in fines and fees.

• Kossie Lee McCaskell III, 44, of Detroit was sentenced to one day in jail with one day credited for a guilty plea to transport or possess deer without a tag. She also was ordered to pay $835 in fines and fees.

• James Eric Flowers, 44, of Sears was sentenced to seven days in jail with one day credited for a guilty plea to operating while intoxicated. He was ordered to pay $1,235 in fines and fees and $265 in restitution. He also was given 18 months probation.

• Misty Lynn Miller, 22, of Sears was ordered to pay $675 in fines and fees for guilty pleas to operating a motor vehicle without insurance and failed to transfer title.

• Thomas Ely Davis, 42, of Evart was sentenced to 46 days in jail with 21 days credited for a guilty plea to attempted disorderly person — jostling. He also was ordered to pay $625 in fines and fees.

• William Mathias Root, 44, of Evart was sentenced to five days in jail with one day credited for a guilty plea to operating while visibly impaired. He is to serve the jail time on weekends. He also was ordered to pay $1,505 in fines and fees and $100 in restitution. He also was given 24 months probation.

• Charles Austin Lee Deblock, 23, of Evart was sentenced to two days in jail with two days credited for a guilty plea to attempted assault or assault and battery. He also was ordered to pay $125 in fines and fees. 

• Alesha Dawn Dishneau, 19, of Harrison was sentenced to seven days in jail with two days credited for a guilty plea to operating while visibly impaired. She also was ordered to pay $1,465 in fines, fees and restitution and given 12 months probation.

• Shawn Russell Flinton, 48, of Rodney was sentenced to 30 days in jail with one day credited for a guilty plea to operating while visibly impaired. He also was ordered to pay $1,305 in fines, fees and restitution and given 24 months probation.
