CADILLAC — A spectacle that engages "all five senses" is coming to Cadillac.

The Cirque Italia traveling Water Circus will be set up at the Wexford Civic Arena parking lot from July 25 to July 28 in a distinctive White and Blue Big Top Tent.

According to a press release issued by Cirque Italia, the Water Circus combines daring acrobatic performers, contortionists and other attractions synchronized with displays of water in a specially made lagoon.

"An ultra-modern water curtain controls every droplet of water meticulously," the press release states. "Words and beautiful patterns can be seen as the water falls to the ‘lagoon’ below synchronized with the most creative display of superhuman talent — the result is simply out of this world. Our aim is to produce a luxurious atmosphere where water, technology, and preforming arts are mixed to create a one-of-a-kind show."

No live animals are used in the performances, although they do use puppets that look like animals.

"Have your five senses stimulated: see our incredible big top tent and spectacular  performers, breath in the smell of concessions, sit center ring on the edge of your seat (try not to squeeze the seat too hard) while performers fly high above, taste the yummy cotton candy, and hear the crowd yell."
