BUCKLEY — Natasha Ann Moffit, of Buckley, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 2, 2019. She was 25.
Tasha was born March 28, 1993, in Cadillac. She graduated from Cadillac High School in 2012 and worked at the Dawg House in Cadillac for several years while still in high school and after as well. Following that she drove a tour charter bus in Alaska. Most recently she was employed as a direct caregiver at Beacon Specialized Living, Silverview AFC Home.
Tasha had a heart of gold and loved caring for others so much so that she risked her own life when a work emergency occurred; saving the lives of many residents. She was selfless and giving and loved her family fiercely. Tasha was full of love and life and had a strong, vivacious personality.
She is survived by her husband, Brandon of Buckley; stepsons, Logan and Wyatt; parents, Michele (Doug) Manke; her father, Rogar (Lisa) Moffit, all of Cadillac; siblings, Andrew, Hunter, Cord, Jon, Crystal, Jaclyn, D.J., Alyssa, Zachary; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; grandparents, June and Bill Hoffert; special aunt and uncle, Kevin and Carla Moffit; father and mother-in-law, Ken and Tracy Thomas; brothers-in-law, Christopher and Dustin (Allison); and her dog, Scooter and cat, Jude.
Tasha was preceded in death by grandparents, Connie and Ernie McDaniel, Donald and Margaret Thatcher, Doug and Mary Manke, Faye and Winnie Root.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2018, at Peterson Funeral and Cremation Services in Cadillac, with the Rev. Scott Torkko officiating. Friends may meet the family from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
