Peggy A. (Schepers) Deemter

JENISON — Peggy A. (Schepers) Deemter, age 85, of Jenison passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019 and went to be with her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis (Fritz) Deemter; her parents, Sid and Mae Schepers; and sister, Donna Marlow.

She is survived by her children, Patricia (Sam) Yeo, Scott (Pam) Deemter, Connie (Mike) Stoppels, LeAnne Gordon, and Tom (Sarah) Deemter; sister, Sharon (Dick) VanDyk; sister-in-law, Genevieve VanHaitsma; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Peggy was a charter member of Fair Haven Church where she loved volunteering. She also spent time serving at Project Martha.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Fair Haven Church, 2900 Baldwin St., Hudsonville, MI 49426, with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to service.
