Former Reed City High School and University of Michigan standout Sami Michell will hold a Hurdling Clinic on Monday, July 15 at Mason County Central High School.

Michell holds the MHSAA All Class/All Division record in the 300-meter hurdles at 42.23 seconds and the Division 3 state finals record in the 100 hurdles at 13.84 seconds.

She competed for Michigan from 2014-17 before finishing her collegiate career at Cal State-Northridge in 2018.

Advanced athletes will go from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and again from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Beginners will go from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Two sessions with a two-hour break in between allows for athletes to rest and go hard for the entire four hours. Athletes are welcome to leave for the break or to hang around and listen to the opposite session.
