REED CITY — The following are arraignments, pleas or sentences occurring in 49th Circuit Court in Osceola County on the date of June 7:

• Shawn Marie Scott, 44, of Lake, pleaded guilty to police officer — assault, resist or obstruct and will be sentenced as a habitual offender third offense notice for her part with an incident on Oct. 9 in Richmond Township. As part of the plea, a habitual offender fourth offense will be dismissed at sentencing as well as a charge of police officer — assault, resist or obstruct, indecent exposure and disorderly person — drunk. A habitual offender fourth offense notice also will be dismissed for her connection with an incident on Oct. 18 in Evart. Sentencing has been set for July 5.

• Sarah Elizabeth Rosenburg, 37, of Paris, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine second or subsequent offense for her connection with an incident on Feb. 7 in Evart. As part of the plea, a habitual offender fourth offense notice will be dismissed at sentencing as will a charge of possession of methamphetamine second or subsequent offense and a habitual offender fourth offense notice stemming from her connection with an incident on or about Feb. 7 in Hersey Township. Sentencing is set for July 19.

• Caryn Joyce Omey, 44, of Traverse City, pleaded guilty to one count of failing to pay child support for her connection with incidents occurring on or between the dates of June 1, 2016-March 1, 2017 in Reed City. As of Sept. 20, 2017, the outstanding arrearage was $17,362.27. As part of the plea, the prosecutor’s office will agree to an open-ended delay of the sentence. The court also granted a personal recognizance bond.

• William Mekan Jr., 35, of Evart, pleaded no contest to a charge of attempted fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, multiple variables for his connection with an incident on May 10 in Evart Township. As part of the plea, a charge of fourth-degree CSC and a habitual offender fourth offense notice will be dismissed at sentencing, which is set for July 19.

• Kevin Ray Galloway, 57, of Evart, pleaded guilty to attempted failure to comply with the sex offenders registration act for his connection with an incident on Feb. 15 in Evart Township. As part of the plea, a charge of failure to comply with the sex offenders registration act and a habitual offender fourth offense will be dismissed at sentencing. Also as part of the plea, the prosecutor has agreed to a one year delay of the sentence and if Galloway is successful the attempted failure to comply charge will be dismissed. A charge of disorderly person will be entered in its place. Sentencing is set for July 19.
