TRAVERSE CITY — One goal down.
Cadillac's boys wrapped up an unbeaten Greater Northwest Bowling Conference season as they beat Traverse City St. Francis 30-0 on Saturday at Lucky Jack's.
"We started the season with three goals this year," Cadillac coach Jeremy Moore said. "We just crossed off the first one."
The Vikings finished 9-0 in league matches. The GNW singles tournament is Friday and the team tournament Saturday.
Cadillac won the baker games 176-76 and 205-115 before winning the regular games 861-530 and 1083-641.
"I thought we had a lack of focus in the first game but was happy with the adjustments everyone made," Moore said. "We came back from our lowest game of the year to throw one of our highest."
Kyle Vermilyea led the way with a 438 while Brandon Foster shot a 248 single game and Korbin Keller had a 234.
Cadillac's girls finished with a 22.5-7.5 win over Traverse City West.
"We've struggled a bit in the baker games this year but this week, we finally put a good set together," Moore said.
The Vikings won the baker games 140-110 and 155-108. They won the first regular game 691-561 before dropping the second 671-656.
Kaitlyn Vermilyea led the way with a 374 series, including a 202 game.
Cadillac finished the regular season at 7-2.
